Wawa Closes Another Center City Store Due to Operational Challenges

Wawa permanently closed its store at 13th and Chestnut streets in Center City, adding to a list of recent closures in Philadelphia. The company cited operational challenges in its decision to close the store and said employees will be transferred to other locations around the city. There are no immediate plans to close other stores in Center City, a Wawa spokesperson said.
