Live-streaming Ads for Alcohol, Junk Food Increased During Pandemic

A new Penn State study found that while ads marketing alcohol, energy drinks, and junk food were already highly prevalent on live-streaming gaming platforms prior to March 2020, they also increased substantially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
